Strange Red Blotch On The Skin Of My Penis.

Yesterday whilst going to the toilet, I noticed a strange red blotch on the skin of my penis, about half an inch away from the lip of my foreskin. I left it over night to see if there was any change and it seems to have grown a little. It definitely wasn't there in the morning when I showered, but appeared after a rather lengthy (and at times frantic) session of intercourse and I thought it could possibly be a burst blood vessel... but I really have no idea about these kinds of things.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much, I'll take what you said into consideration.
I'm pretty sure it isn't a rash though, it looks more like a bruise... But it's a deep red.
Thank you for your help, I'll arrange an appointment with my physician as soon as possible.

Hello,

Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but the various possibilities are rash due to friction rub after intercourse, contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, fungal infection, psoriasis or balanitis(mostly found in uncircumcised men).

Keep the area clean and dry.Do not share towels and use underpants that are loose and of light material like cotton. Also apply calamine lotion on the rash.If the rash itches, then you can take some antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin. If the rash persists then pls get it examined from a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
