What bit me?
I thought I had a mosquito on my bite because it started itching about 3 or 4 days ago. Now there is about a 2 cm (diameter) scab but it is itching like crazy and all around my knee. What bit me and do I need medical attention if it won't stop? I don't have health insurance so any advice or even homeopathic remedy would be fantastic!
I agree, calamine lotion works wonders for all types of itching caused by bug bites. That is a really big scab, though...
If it breaks open, I'd suggest putting some antibiotic ointment on it, just to make sure that it's not infected (which might be the cause of the itching all over your knee).
I think the itching should go away soon, though...usually such bites have effects that last about a week with me.
