What to use to wash and moisturize when skin is healing from a salicylic acid burn?

I never get acne but had recent break out. So I bought and used a salicylic acid face scrub and astringent by burts bees. I used it two days and third had horrible burn rash on my face. I used neosporin on it and it got worse. I stopped everything. just rinsed with water warm compresses and fresh aloe from my aloe plant. It seems to be working less red took down inflamation but now its dry and itchy and feel like i need moisterizer and fash wash. but I donot want to irritate it. What should I use to moisterize it and cleanse my face now but not irritate the skin more?

If it's painful, you can take a pain reliever like Tylenol (as long as you don't have any other medical reasons not to take it) and you can place some hydrocortisone on the area of the rash.

You can wash your face, but use a very mild cleanser.

If it persists, you probably should get to your doctor to ensure there isn't any infection or other issues that they need to give you a prescription for.

Hope you are feeling better soon!
