bumps under scrotom

For the last few months, I have some small bumps growing on the underside of my scrotum.  It hurt when my underpants brush on them.  Also, the skin around these bumps hurt from time to time.  These bumps kind of come and go on their own.  Someday there are more someday they seem to go away.  I hope they are not genital wart but I'm worrying.

The diagnosis I got from the dermatologist was epidermolytic acanthona.

Got the biopsy result from the dermatologist, it's not cancerous.  She said it's some kind of skin irritation and told me not to worry about it.  If I want she can remove them with liquid nitrogen.

I don't have other symptom beside the discomfort. Just went back for another visit and this time they took a sample and sent to the lab. Will know more in a week.

I had a dermatologist checked it out and she told me it's not STD.  However, she was not able to tell what it is either.  She prescribed antibiotic cream for me and told me to go back in 3 weeks.  However, it is hurting more and more now.  I don't know what else can I do.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
It looks like irritated hair follicles due to folliculitis skin. Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lump persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
