help doctor!

Hi, im a patient who had surgery 5 months back to remove my pilonidal cyst. ive had to do my dressings since but even after 5 months it hasnt closed up yet. Any ideas why? and how i can speed it up and close it? Also, i think back 3 months I thought i got bit by an insect right underneath me as in, near my rectum and testicle on my right. not ON my testicle but a little behind but i dont know if it was a bite because its been there for a while, and now it burst while i was on the toilet and theres a hole there. Is it a boil? if so any ways to naturally treat it? cz i definetly dont want another surgery THERE of all places. thank you

k so apprantly my wound is still open. my BIGGEST concern is. after 6 months of recovery from pilonidal cyst removal, the wound has not closed completely =|... and there happens to be small openings near the wound. some of them under or more likely little behind my testicles..ive taken antibiotics 2 weeks back for a week...suprax. and uhm i do my sit baths as well.. i just want this recovery...also....i know there is leakage like tiny amounts.. from these small openings..cz my under clothing gets wet and stinks after leakage.. so yeah.....wht should i do. to get my wound to heal and close...completely . Hello,
The symptoms can be due to anal fistula. Fistula is an abnormal connection between two epithelium-lined organs(like the anal canal and outside skin in case of anal fistula) that normally do not connect. It presents as an open hole near the anus on examination and the patient has the symptoms of external opening, bleeding, swelling or pain.

My sincere advice would be to consult a surgeon and getting yourself evaluated for anal fistula. Investigations like external examination, digital rectal examination, anoscopy, fistulography, endoanal ultrasound and MRI may be required to confirm the diagnosis. Treatment is mostly surgical but depends on the position of the fistula and which parts of the anal sphincter it crosses.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
