Hello,
When wasps sting humans, a venom is injected into the skin. This venom usually triggers a localized reaction, which includes redness, swelling and itching at the site of the sting. This itching is caused by the release of histamine which is are stored in mast cells and released when a foreign substance is introduced into the body.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted.
