mole removal procedure

I went to the dermatologist last Tuesday to get multiple raised moles burned. My face looks really bad now. Will it take a long time to for my moles to be completey gone? Will I get scars?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For few days after the laser mole removal, apply frequent soaks with 0.25% acetic acid, normal saline, or cool tap water lasting 20 minutes every 2-4 hours, followed by gentle wiping of the skin. Cold compresses are immediately followed by the application of a bland emollient ointment like Vaseline or Aquaphor. Application of appropriate dressings like composite foam, hydrogel foam or silon TSR may also be useful. By 7-10 days after the procedure, soaks are replaced with gentle cleansing, and patients switch to the application of a moisturizer-sunscreen.

Antibiotic ointment should be avoided in both open and closed wound care regimens. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi:

I suppose you had a laser procedure, never the less listen to the enclosed video on how to care after the mole removal. You must avoid touching and infections, follow what the enclosed video says and it should not take more than 2 weeks to heal.
