Red dots on my neck and chest

For the past few years I have aquired small red dots on my neck and chest. They are not a rash- they do not itch or hurt.  They are not pimples or skin tags- they have no texture or outward appearence.  They are located underneath the skin.  It almost looks like broken capaliares scattered across my neck/chest. I am very fair complected. What is the cause of this?  Is there a cure to make these things disappear or to prevent these?  Should I see a demeratologist?

You may live in a cold climate and it may cause your skin to have red eots about a millimeter wide and about a centemeter apart.this is caused by being in the cold for too long.try to stay warm and stay.inside with the heater on.Or you may try reducing your medication or any skin care products your taking.if this does not work try consulting your doctor or someone who has medical knowledge.Stay warm...stay healthy.

It could be eczema, sweat dermatitis, allergic reactions or sweat dermatitis.

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites.

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene .

Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin.

For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).

Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema. Keeping the affected area moistened can promote skin healing and relief of symptoms.
