red palms all of my life

My hands have been red all of my life and they get very hot. I have read about liver palms,but when I have my blood work done,my liver functions are fine. I do remember my mother always having red hands as well. what could be causing this?

Thank-you for the information. When I do get my physical,I also have my blood work done and my liver functions comes out fine. My hands have always been light red , it not something that has just occured over time. My mother's hands were always the same way. I will look into the other things that you have mentioned. Thanks

It looks like palmar erythema and can be due to liver dysfunction, such as chronic liver disease, pregnancy, thyrotoxicosis and dermatoses such as eczema or psoriasis.
I suggest you to get it evaluated from a physician and get your liver function tests done. Also get eczema and psoriasis apart from contact dermatitis/ allergies ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
