red rash on neck, not sure what from

Hi, my husband keeps getting these tiny, circular, red rashes on his neck.  We are not sure what they are from.  I thought he may have an allergic reaction to something, but we do not know what is causing them.  If anyone has any advice please help.  Thanks in advance,

Thanks fo the help.  They do not itch.  It is small, round, bumps (red) on his neck area.  As far as we know he is not allergic to anything.  He noticed them the first time about a month ago & then again lastnight.

The neck rash could be due to several causes. He would need to see a skin specialist to rule out eczema, sweat dermatitis, heat rash, acne, folliculitis, impetigo, even lupus, etc.

Does he wear any ornamental jewellry in the neck?

He could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with his symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the itching.

What other symptoms is he having? Since when has he noticed the lesions?

Is he allergic to any specific substances?

Let us know about how he is doing and post us about what the doctor advises.
