redness, pigmentation scars???

hi doc,

i was just wondering if you could tell me the best product to use to get back normal healthy skin, e.g no redness, pigmentation or scars,?

im currently using proactiv salyctic acid for washing, ive been on roacutane a few years ago, without doctors knowing, just wondering about pigmentation skin problems now?

ive done some research and think im gonna go for the retin-a gel, just wondering though would spray tanning cover up hyperpigmentation?

Hello,
The treatment for such hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. But please use it under a dermatologist’s guidance. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing, and abrasive treatments unless prescribed by a dermatologist during this period.
