Hello beekm
I was diagnosed with the same thing about five months ago. I developed a rash back in June and it has been red ever since. I am 43 years old and work in construction so I am up and down ladders all the time. This rash is destroying my life. The medical community claims that eczema or dermatitis only affects 2% of adults and the majority of them had it their whole life. They also claim that it rarely affects the nappy area or the groin.
Between this site and others I have talked with hundreds of adult men that developed this horrible affliction. I used those ointments and many others and none of them did any thing. Maybe I'll have to get the scrotum cut off since the doctors are to incompetent to do anything.
Heart transplants, brain surgery, hand transplants but can't cure a rash!

Hi,
You can check whether Protopic or Prograf is available. You need to have a prescription for same.
The doctor has to write the dosage and needs to explain you the side effects about it.
Keep me posted.
Bye.

Hi Bee,
How are you feeling?
I think you should go on with systemic corticosteroids and newer modes of intervention like topical tacrolimus and pimecrolimus (an immunosuppressant known as a topical immuno-modulator) are new agents. These medicines are used if patients are intolerant or unresponsive to conventional therapy.
Weak tar preparations and ultraviolet B light therapy are used to increase the thickness of the stratum corneum.
Keep me informed if you have any queries.
