How old are you?
There is exactly no "best" skin care since skin types do vary from one person to another. Currently manufacturers of skin products have been trying to provide a wide array of skin care products to suit each skin type. For an individual to get the best skin care, one should follow a particular regimen of cleansing, toning , exfoliating and moisturizing.
As one grows older however, exfoliation may damage the thinning skin. Cleansing and moisturizing are still essential as one ages. The use of sunscreen for the face is still a must. I suggest the use of products that are hypoallergenic and also with organic ingredients such as vitamin C and E. Anti aging products may also be beneficial especially for women with fine lines and wrinkles.
A healthy diet, decrease intake of fatty food, cessation of smoking, adequate sleep and daily exercise will ensure not just great skin but also a healthy body in general.
Hi Vanessa, Answer to your question: I'm 69, soon to be 70 years old.
Right.Thanks for the information.
I have posted above some basics for skin care. I feel that the gentler the product ,the better.Even as one ages, applying sunscreen and moisturizing should still be mainstays of therapy. Vitamin E and C have been used widely in enhancing the skin. Hormones also play a role in maintaining the suppleness of our skin.
Just continue a healthy lifestyle. Cease smoking and take daily exercises everyday .Avoid direct exposure to sunlight . Drink plenty of water and have a great time with family and friends.
Beauty from outside and inside is equally important. But the fact is that we care from outside not from inside. Inside beauty include your eating habits. one can find various anti-aging skin care products like lotions, creams, gels which can help to reduce acne by providing the essential elements like protein and collagen to the body.
