small lump on outter lip of vagina

I figured I'd come here and ask for help being that I cannot afford healthcare at the moment. A week or two ago, while washing, I felt a lump on the lip of my vagina (it feels like its about the size of half a pea). I tried to see if I could find it but could not - its as if its not even there but I can feel it. It doesn't itch nor is it painful. I'm confused as to what this could be. I do not believe it to be an STD because I've only had protected sex twice and that was over two years ago. Symptoms would've shown up by now, but that's only an assumption. I honestly do not shave regularly down there either so that, perhaps, may be a problem.

Anyone know what this could be? I would be horrified if it were an STD but it seems so unlikely because I was safe about sex and my partners were not promiscuous.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like a cyst. The other possibilities are Bartholin’s cyst( caused due to blockage of Bartholin’s duct in vagina), lipoma(fatty deposits) ,fibroma (fibrous tissue deposits) or viral wart (small raised pimples to a mass of large, cauliflower-like growths. The virus that causes them is passed on during sex).

An examination by a gynecologist will be the best as it is only after an examination that it will become clear what the swelling that you have noticed is due to. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
