spots on penis

im a 21 yr old male who has pinkish red falt spots underneath the head of my penis that wont go away. they're about 1-2 mm in diameter and are painless and do not itch at all. if i look closely i can see a needle size bump in the 4 grouped blotches. ive been to the Dr. and she said its not herpes, but possibly an allergic reaction or vitilligo. however im black and the spots are pink instead of white so i don't think its vitilligo. Ive been tested for STDs and tested negative. i dont wanna apply any cortisone cream because im unsure of what it is, and i dont wanna make matters worse. if anyone could tell me what this is id really appericate it. by the way i have an appointment with another Dr soon, so ill post his/her diagnosis.

I have a question, are you uncircumcised?
My fiance (he's black too) has a similiar appearance of small bumps, that are kinda pink/red, under the head of his penis and they've always been there. he was told it was from not being circumcised and its just normal. He (and me) are both clean, we were tested before we had any form of sexual contact. I was last checked, in dec and there were no problems. He will be checked again soon by his doctor. So it could possibly be from not being circumcised, or if you are circumcised how was it before you got circumcised? And one more question, have you always had these bumps or did they just appear?

Hi,

All the conditions mentioned above usually present with pinkish spots only which are not painful and do not itch or have any discharge. please get a biopsy skin done to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

in response to Bhupinder Kaur,

first of all id like to thank you for replying, the stress is really building up and its killing me, thanks to the internet ive convinced myself that theyre tumors, or some other terminal illness. although the pictures dont really look like what im experiencing, the unknown cause of these pigmented spots have left me paranoid and full of anxiety.

After my second visit to a new dr. concerning my situation, she really didnt say anything but, "could be allergies dont wear tight pants, stay loose and let it breathe." however i dont wear tight pants, i was hoping for a much better evaluation or at least some sort of prescription, instead, my confidence in these M.D's have dropped tremendously, leaving me skeptical about their previous conclusions. unfortuantely i have no insurance so i cant go to a dermatologist so basically im stuck with these clinical M.D's in the meanwhile. in your comment you mentioned something about moderate or serve symptoms, im not too sure what you mean by that. the only symptoms i have are visible pink dots underneath the head of my penis that just wont go away theres no pain, no itching, or any discomfort for that matter...

The conditions youve mentioned dont really seem to be associated with what im dealing with; primarily because they dont cause me any of discomfort, except for the fact that i see them every time i go to the bathroom..... and if it were vitiligo wouldnt they be white spots??? i mean im black, carmel colored to be more specific.

if they were allergies wouldnt they eventually go away on there own? could this be some type of bacterial infection? gaingreen? hpv 16 or 18? urinary tract infection? im totally cluless right now and i think im loosing my mind....

once again they're flat pinkish redish spots located on the shaft, directly underneath the head of my penis, the spots seem to have a needle sized bump in the before mentioned blotches.

sorry if i seem a little rude but im just looking for some peace of mind, im seriously at the point where im considering running to the ER.

thank you, and i look forward to another comment

        Sincerly, afraid

Hello,
Since the pink spots have not gone away, so it can be due to some chronic cause like vitiligo, atopic dermatitis or psoriasis. But we need to concentrate on simpler causes like dermatitis first.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used, whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid. But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist. Also use mild soaps like Dove. If the symptoms are severe then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
