water blisters

I've been getting small water blisters all over my body. At first it was just my hands and in between my fingers. Now it has spread to my elbows, legs, ankles, back, tops and bottoms of feet, in between my toes, elbows, palms and arms. It's extremely itchy and if you pop the water blister it just seems to come back and spread a little more. Once the rash is "done" in that area the scab thick and shiny. I'm also not sure who had it first but my boyfriend, whom i live with, has been experiencing the same mystery water blister. I've gone to the dermatologist and they can't find anything live or anything i seem to be allergic to. She said it seemed to be eczema, but all the different creams and ointments prescribed don't seem to help. I thought at first it was scabies due to the fact my family had caught it about a year ago and it's just about as itchy and spreads and is contagious but i guess i have to rule that out considering every time I've gone in they can't find anything live. Now i don't know what to do since my dermatologist cant seem to help and neither can my primary care physician.

I've already been to the dermatologist and my primary care physician because i thought it was scabies. They scraped my skin and put the samples on slides and they didn't find anything live.

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but since the itchy blisters have been present for quite some time and both of you are having it, it can be scabies, bullous impetigo or herpetic sores. Scabies is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed.
I hope that helps. Take care and regards.
