white blobs on penis

Hello Dr's,

Please can you help me with an embarrasing problem that has come to my attention the past couple of days.

I seem to have an area of white 'spots' on my penis - they do not hurt or cause any irretation, they just seem to have come from nowhere. They don't seem to be popable like an ordinary spot although they do seem slightly raised. I haven't had any other symptoms, eg, no fever, etc. Im pretty certain it is not an STD as I use condoms with my girlfriend.

Please see the below links for images and feel free to ask any other questions that I can answer which might help.

Thank you for your help. I have been using Clotrimazole for a week now and it still hasn't gone down.

By the way, I am aware that I have the peraly penile papules, it was really the cluster of white spots above it (almost in a triangular shape) that I was really asking about. These still have not reduced at all.

Thank you.

Hello,
Yeast infection should go away with the antifungal ointment but if it is pearly penile papules, Ablation using carbon dioxide laser, electrodesiccation with curettage, and excisional surgery reportedly have successfully eliminated lesions. In my opinion you should talk to a cosmetologist/dermatologist about this.

Hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thank you very much for your advise.

After how long should the yeast infection dissappear? I am using Clotrimazole 1% cream.

Thanks again

Hello,
The small bumps on the rims are the pearly penile papules and the few white spots seem like some irritation of the penis or penis yeast infection. Pearly penile papules are small dome-shaped to filiform skin-colored papules that typically are located on the sulcus or corona of the glans penis.
For the yeast infection, topical and oral antifungals may be needed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
