The actual problem is due to epilation which is a very expected complication of bleaching. The history reveals it.The severe complication of bleaching is hair loss and frequent hair growth in epilated areas leaving behind a black area around the hair root.It is due to a sensitive reaction, which substantially has no permanent cure.Sun burn reaction after epilation finally results in this problem. The black dots represent the healing process started by your body to these chemical agents.Even though clinical diseases like Thallium poisoning also gives such pigmentation on body but it is related to ingestion of Thallium.Did you use such drugs before?

If the problem persists for a long time,as in your case there are some treatment options.Use of Tretinoin(Vitamin-A) ointment may actually help you to subside the appearance of these lesions(Dots). But as the area is large enough it may have high side effects.Use of Laser therapy and also cryosurgery has showed effective results on such problems. If the history in you suggests a sun burn or other reaction of body parts to such chemicals may be the treatment options are compromised. It may be due to hypersensitive reaction to chemicals.Use of Glucocorticoids, other Cancer therapy drugs prescribed for skin problems ,by frequent Doc visits under supervision may also prevent further advancement of this problem. So talk to your dermatologist in effectiveness of these treatment options. But however these options still remain contradictory. So please do not finalize.

Hello,
All these topical treatment should be used with caution as they are not without side effects and hydroquinone may be carcinogenic. Hence it is better to get these topical preparations prescribed from your dermatologist.

Hello,
The hyperpigmentation on the joints of fingers and toes is due to friction hyperpigmentation. Regarding the hyperpigmented scars on the legs after the ingrown hair are removed, treatment includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment.  If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion.

Due to your hyperpigmentation problem (overproduction of pigment) it can result from hormones, sun damage, trauma, extractions, or exfoliation. Apply a solution containing melanin suppressant, that agent stops the chemical reactions occurring in the melanocytes. Go to your local drug store and find "Hydroquinone". As far as those black dots all over your legs are, they are called ingrown hairs, they can be treated by estheticians, which is what I am we can apply a deep cleansing and exfoliation and once the hair is long enough, you are able to wax the leg and all the black dots (most of them anyway) will be pulled out from the root of the hair leaving you with smooth legs.
