thank you this already has helped and I have already talked with my doctor .she said it wouldn't hurt to loose weight but with my age it will be a little harder then an adults. I'm trying to change my eating habits drastically and I have been working out as well. On top of that I still play volleyball and golf so I should stay pretty active with that.
I don't know if that's an outrageous goal or not; it depends on your body type. That means whether you have a small frame, medium frame or large frame - when I say "frame", I mean your bone structure. If you have a large frame - like if your hands and feet are larger than most girls your age, then 110 lbs is unrealistic, but if you have a small frame it might be okay. I'd probably say that 115-125 might be a better long term goal to start with.
You have to remember that "skinny" isn't pretty, either... you want to be filled out and well rounded without being fat.
We can help you lose weight, but you have to do it in a reasonable manner, not some fad diet type thing that's unhealthy, because your body still isn't developed yet and if you don't lose weight in a healthy manner now, you will set yourself up for, both weight and other health problems for the rest of your life. You also have to understand that you'll be trying to lose, at least 45 lbs, so it's going to take some time and it's going to be hard work, but you CAN do it, if you want it badly enough.
Assuming that your parents buy the groceries for the household, the first thing you will have to do is enlist their help in order to make sure there is plenty of healthy food to eat, because you won't lose weight eating pizza, chips, sandwiches and fried chicken. The second thing you might want to do is have them make an appointment with your doctor to make sure you don't have any underlying medical problems that would make weight loss more difficult/impossible, such as an under active thyroid gland or insulin resistance.
All of that said, if you're ready to get started, I'm ready to help you...
