I went on Weight Watcher about 2 years ago and lost 130 pounds so far. I still have about 30 pounds to go. I found their points system very easy to stick to. The biggest help for me was making sure I tracked everything I ate and be honest with yourself, not writing it doesn't mean you didn't eat it. After a while it becomes second nature. Don't get discouraged or beat yourself up, you make a mistake just get right back on the plan. I still eat cake, just not the whole cake. I try to avoid triggers too, starchy carbs are the worst for me, the more I eat them the more I want them so I stay away from them as much as I can. I have a very active job and ride horses too but I'm getting to the point that it isn't enough to help with my weight loss. I finally broke down and joined a gym.
When I had that problem I was diagnosed with PCOS, but that's definitely a very specific thing and your doctor should know by now it that's an issue.
Honestly sugar is the number one thing that has transformed me. I tried going on diets for about 10 years and never lost a pound. When I started watching my sugar the pounds melted off. A lot of the diet foods out there will replace the calories with sugar and that just ends up turning into carbs by the body.
I get quite a bit of exercise i walk a lot where i work climb a lot of stairs 10 hours a day n i have had it checked im always told its fine.
Have you been checked to see if you have a thyroid issue? Hypothyroidism can make losing weight, next to impossible. Talk to your doctor and ask to get checked.
I'm not sure what you're cutting back, what types of food you eat, what portions.. Do you get any exercise? For most of us, exercise to key to losing weight.
