keep on keepin' on

This post is for everyone scrolling through these forms looking for that little boost of encouragement. I started out my journey by using the calorie counter about a month ago. My wedding is in August and I wanted to be in the best shape of my life for the big day. I started out at 173 pounds and plugged in my goal weight at 145, as I am 5'7. After a little over one month off being pretty strict at counting my calories and eating a well-balanced, healthy diet, I can proudly say that I am now 163 pounds and feel absolutely great! I can already see huge changes and know that it only will get better from here. There are very few things better in life then waking up in the morning and you loving who you see in the mirror. Some have confidence just the way they are but for me, getting healthier and seeing these positive results have definitely changed the way I look at eating as a way to fuel myself up and not a crutch. Hopefully I can keep this mindset for the  rest of  my life. I still have a little ways to go  but I am so  happy with all of the progress I've  made so  far!.... and the "Wow! Have you lost weight!?" 's  don't hurt either! ;)

I felt the exact same way... it was very frustrating to feel like your weight loss has become stagnant. I read a quote that still keeps me motivated during those times, "Eat right, exercise, and drinks lots of water. Be patient, you're body will reward you for it."

Thanks to you both! This app makes it simple and easy to plug in exercise and calories... I will admit though, at times it was discouraging because the scale wasn't reflecting the work that I was putting in. However, after reading some of these discussion boards I realized not to center my focus on the  scale, as weight can fluctuate so much because of so many factors! Hope you both have successful journeys :) :)
