Esbalac is your best choice as it is closest to the mother's milk as far as fat content. I too have fed goats milk with sucess, however, it can lead to loose stools and stools that are not the correct color; if the puppy's stools are a white or greying color, that is not good. Get yourself some Esbalac and you should be okay. (Powder is much cheaper to buy than the cans)
Yes, you can buy the formula at the pet store, however, you can use canned Goat's milk. I've used it for years when supplementing and to mix with a gruel when weaning.
