I'm trying to have a baby, but I also wondering to have a puppy like this http://www.cuteheaven.com/?p=433
Is this breed good with children and is this OK to beep him as a indoor dog?

I would not recommend getting a puppy if you are planning a baby, have the baby first, wait, then get a dog.  You will be way too stressed out with both, and the puppy will be the one to suffer.  My daughter in law got a lab puppy, and now is worried that when the baby is born the puppy will play too rough.  Like Misfits4Me said, wait until your child is about 5 and can handle a puppy properly and you will have more time for both.

Hello & welcome....IMO, Babies and puppies DO NOT mix!  Especially a tiny puppy as the one your looking at.....
These guys are very fragile and will always be so.......Babies, infants, toddlers, don't understand this and one mistake can be heartbreaking for everyone! It can cost your puppy his life!
My suggestion is to wait till your child is at least 5yrs. old before getting a dog.....Puppies require alot of attention and certainly, so do babies...The combination is overwhelming before you know it....Then usually, the puppy has to go.....
This situation is not fair to anyone and the puppy is who will end up suffering.....Please, do not do it!!!!             Karla

P.S. Yes, the puppy your looking at has to live indoors.......It cannot survive the elements outside forever.................

I couldn't get the pic to load (my machine's buggy this morning!)
All I can say is  -by "indoor dog" I guess you mean a dog who sleeps and spends some time indoors.
It is my belief that no dog, whatever breed, with the exception of dogs who are very sick, or very old, should spend ALL of their time indoors. Toy breeds need to be out a bit less than other dogs, and certainly don't need 5 mile walks twice a day! But they still need to be out, get decent 'walkies'

(that means at least 45 minutes walk and outdoor activities twice a day).

[Working type dogs are built for outside life, though of course they are very happy to come in at night. I know because I've got one of those. Their needs and temperament doesn't really change much with age too, so long as they stay fit. So if you are getting a dog like this, it means about 15 years of giving that dog as much outside life as it can get.]

All dog owners need to be at least to a certain extent "outdoor types" (walks in all weather except raging heat or deep snow....walks even when you have a cold or flu...walks even though there may be children to look after, or work to do...etc)

Easier if there is more than one adult to cope with this schedule.

I am not a believer in keeping a dog indoors (some even have "litter trays" for dogs, and the dog never has chance to socialize or get out much. Some are just turned out into a yard all day on their own because the owner cannot go for walks.)
Now, that is only my opinion. People may not agree with me. But it is my own tried and tested method for keeping my dog well and fit.
Dogs will adapt if forced into an unnatural lifestyle. But they won't live as long, nor will they be as healthy or happy.

So please do think twice about whether you will be able to cope with all this, when that sweet cute cuddly puppy grows up, and is staring at that door, waiting for you to take him out.
