Welcome to the dog forum, I am not sure regarding your dog's issue....
But my advice is: if you have a concern, maybe go ahead and get into your vet to check,, better safe than sorry...better to catch a problem before its worse and cost more..
There are some members here with your breed or type, maybe they will post another suggestion...

The upper 1/3 of my 11 yr. old cat's ear has suddenly turned dark on the outside with same around the tip on the inside. It's a brownish gray. This cat has always been healthy, normal weight and happy. No signs anything else being wrong. Any ideas?
