10 week old Morkie has missing toes on his left rear paw to his mommy overgrooming him. He is health, happy and playing like all puppies do, but I am concerned will this effect him later in life? plz help b.f we go to pick him up Friday!!!!!!
Do not think this will effect him later in life if it does not effect him know.Plus their are dogs who have need a limb removed and they adapt well the live normal full happy lives so if the paw is not effected and only toes are missing it should be fine if not sure talk or call a vet, sure it fine.I have heard of moms over grooming and puppies end up missing toes it somewhat common Just enjoy your happy healthy puppy hope he brings you and your family may years of joy and love i believe a puppy and dogs complete a family.
I had a litter of puppies a few years ago and we never saw one was missing a toe My vet saw the puppy I had it 8 weeks the new family had her 3 months before a groomer found it was missing ..It never effected the puppy and one less to clip lol She is now 4 years old and still no problems
