sick papillon

my papillon "Princess" is 14 months old,2 months ago she started vomiting foam and had slimy diarrhea and wouldnt eat,we took her to the vet and since she is current wit all her vaccinations he said it was prob just a virus, gave her an iv and some antibiotics, she was fine within 24 hours but she then went into her first heat cycle ever and it lasted for over 6 weeks, now she is sick with the same thing again, its sunday night and i havent gotten a call back from the vet yet,she nearly dehydrated last time since she only weighs 5 lbs so it doesnt take long,i used a syringe and forced her to swallow water but that only cause her to vomit again,i'm home alone and i dont drive anymore and husband wont be back in state till tuesday,i'm afraid she will die before then ,what can i do i have no friends or family to take me anywhere.this is a small town and no animal hosp.

Has your puppy had his/her vaccinations? If not, have you taken him/her outside where he/she has come into contact with other dogs and/or their faeces? Tony

This could well be pyometra. Some forms of this can be more 'chronic' than 'acute' But nevertheless, it needs to be taken very seriously.
No dog's heat cycle lasts for 6 weeks. Something else must be going on, and I suspect pyometra.
Call a cab.... Ask a neighbour to drive you, and pay them....hire a car....call the vet to come out to your home....anything, but I do believe it would be a good idea if your dog was seen by a vet as soon as you can do that.

Don't be afraid of making a nuisance of yourself. Your dog needs the vet.
