Help, any ideas??

So i've had ear and jaw pain for abou 4 years now. At first the doctor diagnosed me with TMJ, which turned out to be wrong after I had the X ray and nothing was found. So the pain goes from the ear and down to the jawline. My ears are constanty popping, especially at night. I cannot stand loud noises and everyday normal sounds seems somewhat turned on the highest volume.
If a child cries in a supermarcket i will be the only one putting my hands on my ears and looking at the child with pleading eyes for him to stop. I cannot stand table sounds, people chewing on things, sound of plates/forks/knives and glasses touching each other. Sometimes,I can also can hear my own heartbeats.  I'm a student and in lectures, some lectures have a microphpone and I cannot stand the sound that i dont even go to those lectures anymore.
Anyone has experienced that before? I've heard of hyperacusis but I'm not sure, if they are any hyperacusis sufferers out there, can you relate to my story?

I have the EXACT same thing!!! I have also seen a specialist about sinuses because I keep getting infections but he saw no problems and told me I had TMJ...which I have no problem with either. Decongestants do not work, I take Nasonex and that doesn't work. The fullness gets soooo much that eye feels like it'll pop out!! I also have it on the left side! I have been to the doctor many times and each time he hesitates to send me to an ENT doctor. Let me know what works for you.

This sounds kinda nutty, but I recommend you go see an acupuncturist before anything else.

I aslo forgot to mention that I constantly feel like I'm on an airplane, my ears are plugged all the time. The onlt difference is that when I "unpop" them, It does not go back to normal as it would on an airplance, they stay plugged.
Also, I've been told a lot of times that I speak softly, which i don't think I do, because to me, my voice is too loud and is hurtin my ears so I speak softer.
