How long have you had this problem?  Sounds like something affecting your Olfactory system or something is wrong with your Olfactory system.  

Any imaging of your head?  

I would recommend having your Olfactory system tested; very simple to have done.

Did you break your nose?  Have you had a severe sinus infection?
Those are only two causes of what could be wrong.
