Hi,

I would like to mention a few words regarding your problem. The symptoms you mentioned can be because of the sino-nasal polyposis. Nasal obstruction - because of polyps by itself, headache is secondary to blockage of the sinuses and dizziness would have been as a result of increased mouth breathing causing respiratory alkalosis. Regarding your blurring of vision pre-operative it can either be because of the breach of the lamina papyracea (a thin bone separating the eyeball from the ethmoidal sinuses) and causing pressure over the nerve or if it is post-operative it can be due to trauma to the optic nerve during the surgery. If the injury is partial then there are chances that your vision might improve. I would advice you to discuss this problem with your ENT surgeon, he might help you out.

Yes, one can have pressure from the sinuses pushing on the eyeball affecting the eye; that is correct, but there is nothing wrong with the optic nerve itself in that situation.

In my opinion, if the polyps were removed, the pressure affecting the eyes should have been relieved and thus the blurry vision should be subsiding or subsided.

See my PM too.

The recovery of your optic nerve?  Were you told you had a problem with your optic nerve too?  Just because you have blurry vision does NOT mean there is a problem with your optic nerve. I have read your other posts and UNFORTUNATELY think that all your symptoms are NOT related to nasal polyps.  I will agree you have sinus problems, but I think you also have a problem coming from somewhere else too.

Is your vision just blurry or you cannot see at all?

What ALL have you been diagnosed with?
