Could I have Endometriosis?

Ok, 12 years of pelvic pain combined with diarrhea around that time of the month.

The research is pointing towards endometriosis.

I'm looking at the symptoms & that is what I'm seeing.

Could a doctor possibly answer me on this?

Thanks!

You gym should be able to give you a correct answer. But your symptoms sound like mine. I also had cramps, back pain, side pain, vomiting along with diarrhea. The pain was so bad sometimes I had to miss work. I was finally dig with endometrosis in November 2009 but because it was left untreated to long and I had to have an hystrectomy in December. ANd I suffered with pain for almost 30 years (I;m 40 now). So call your doc and have an honset talk with him/her.

Yes, a Dr could find out if you have endometriosis. Make an appointment to see your gynecologist. They best test for this is a laporascopy. They would go in through your belly button to look around for endometriosis. There are some treatments for it like going on the pill, laser surgery, meds to stop your period for awhile to get the endometriosis under control. First, you need to find out if this is the problem or if it's something else going on. What other symptoms are you having?  Remar
