If you have adhesions being active can in fact make the pain worse, it did for my sister.

I know that for me there are times when NOTHING helps, but those times usually do not last longer than 45 minutes at a time.  Depending on my pain level here are some things that work for me:  2 Aleve every 12 hours; Darvocet; Toradol; Vicodin; heating pad on the abdomen.  Also if you have not already done so, talk to your doctor about getting on a pill where you only have a period every 3 months - it is a lot easier to only have to deal with it once in awhile.  If I had to go through it every month there is no way I could.  Good luck!  When not on your period, swimming, walking and being active will help make the pain less when you do have a period.

My doctor has prescribed ibuprofen and if taken properly it helps.

Sorry you are in so much pain. My sister found that one of the best things to was to use ice and drink yogi ginger tea. Also you might wan to try a gluten free diet. Many women with endo are also gluten intolerant. I do that and I also take Oregon Wild Harvest Turmeric (I have tried four different brands and this is the only one that works.) (If you have liver problems or are on blood thinners then you cannot take it.) Also my sister has found that vicoproferan (vicadin with a combo of advil) is a great drug.

Hope this helps,
