Blood under finger nail ????

I've been taking a lot of anti-viral drugs, doxycycline, ultram and lyrica for EBV and CFS.   A few days ago I noticed blood under my finger nail (thumb).    This was not due to injury.    Should I be concerned?   I read this condition is a symptom of both liver and heart disease.   I have an appt w/ my doctor tomorrow to discuss.   Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts / explainations?

Labs were normal.   I was told not to worry.

No one can ID the source of my pain / aches / symptoms.   I've been told I have reiter's syndrom, CFS due to EBV and Fibromyalgia.     All I know is I'm in pain and plain to go on heavy duty drugs reverse the disease / help w/ my pain.   Thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

let us know what they find. It's such an unusual symptom. I am curious to hear what they conclude. I hope it's nothing serious.

I went to the docs.  They were worried.  However, a blood test was performed and I am waiting results.

Hey mr, did you ever find out what the problem was with your thumbnail? I am not on any medication, but sometimes the nailbed of my thumbnail will turn dark purple and looked bruised. this comes and goes and I have no idea what causes it. I did have hepatitis last year from Epstein barr and wondered if it was an indicator of liver problems or circulation problems. I just wondered if your doctor had a clue as to what was causing the problem.
