EBV test results

Does anyone know how to interpret these EBV results?

VCA IgG   Negative
VCA IgM Negative
EBNA IgG  Positive

I got the same results twice now, with testing about 6 months apart, so I don't think any of these are false negatives/positive.

As far as I know, it isn't possible to have positive EBNA IgG and negative VCA IgG.

I had a positive mono test about 1.5 yr ago, and experiencing chronic fatigue/excessive daytime sleepiness since.

I have also tested positive for ANA (Homo 2+ pattern), but negative for other Lupus specific tests.

thanks for any help

It just means you've had mono before, but not now. The antibody stays in your system forever, that's why the last one is positive.

Has your fatigue gotten any better or worse since you tested positive for mono?  Also, have you made any adjustments/lifestyle changes to help cope with the fatigue?
