I don't know if all of those things are normal or not, but believe me, I experienced all of them! I actually lost about 20 pounds in the time I was sick (I've since gained it back), and I've heard of others who have lost even more. I know the fatigue and everything made me very anxious, especially worrying about chronic fatigue, since it took me over a year to get over the illness. I think one of the worst things was feeling so tired yet not being able to sleep! Anyway, you're definitely not the only one going through this! If this sickness continues to give you trouble, you should really see your doctor, especially if you haven't yet. Hopefully things will start getting better for you!
i have lost few pound i cant sleep unless i take a sleeping pill. i am tired all day. i am pretty much suicidal!!! any advice? is that normal? why i am losing weight? anxiety?
I'm not sure what you mean by "how long". Based on my experience, the more you try to continue normal activity levels, the longer it will take your body to fight back the virus. I'm not saying you have to be completely bed-ridden, but I would try to really take it easy until you're consistently feeling better.
thank you very much !!! i am trying not to think about it and try to continue my normal life. i took a complete rest because after my first run i felt bad again my saliva is heavy and i feel my limph nodes and few spot of skin rush. Now i have some ok days and some a little worse. i hope will end soon. Do you know for how long usually i should rest?
Hi Jimmy, from what I've heard, not only is it possible, it's quite likely, especially given your recent circumstances. I had a relapse happen to me after I resumed working out and a normal schedule too soon after the initial illness. Unfortunately it took much longer to get over the second time. I'm not trying to scare you, but I do want to be honest; I would suggest taking it easy as much as possible and getting plenty of rest. And, as I mentioned, stress is also a big factor; it's difficult to do anything about it, but it's a factor nonetheless. I strongly recommend doing whatever you can to minimize these possible relapse factors. Hope you get feeling better soon!
