Tore Skin on Penis

I have a question and a story to add..

There was a recent time that I had masturbating while having this "rope" ring on my finger. I bruised my penis very badly. Its healing but there is a part of the wound that is not healing as fast.
now I understand that that skin is the most sensitive. So it will take time. But I see that there is a pus or sometype of whitish yellow covering over my wound. What does this mean?

It does not look like a lesion. I had no blisters nor is there any redness around the wound. It just looks raw...

Would this be a sign of a disease or infection?

Also, I have not had sex in 1 year (protected) and unprotected sex in...wow...like 3 years.
