Have you talked to your doctor about this? It's important to do that. Having soft erections is a form of erectile dysfunction, as you know, and this can happen as we age. Medication can widen blood vessels and leads to firmer erections. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/ed-cures-for-seniors  It sounds like you pay attention to your health which is great. You want to rule out that first as the underlying cause. Treat whatever issue there is. If you've done that, then it is time to ask your doctor for help. You should keep taking any medications you are on but talk to your doctor. Do any of them increase ED? Some pretty common meds older folks take may. I'm not sure they have a good situation to offer men yet with creams. https://www.healthline.com/health/erectile-dysfunction/cream  But we do know that the medications available work well. Would that be something you'd try? And I believe there is something just approved over the counter for men and erectile dysfunction. I'd personally not use this if I didn't clear it with my doctor. https://www.health.harvard.edu/mens-health/fda-approves-new-over-the-counter-gel-for-erectile-dysfunction
