Bleeding in the eye

I have had what appears to be bleeding into the left eye.  A series of black zig zags which dispersed leading a fog of blood cells for a few days which then cleared up.  This was accompanied by a flash sensation at the left of the left eye which remains.  I have no pain or pressure sensation.  My mother had a history of glaucoma.  Advice please.

See an ophthalmologist. This is not typical of anything normal. You need your eyes examined with a full professional exam by an Eye MD. Try and get a hold of an on call Eye MD.
