Floaters and Flashes

Hi Doctor,

I have floaters problem for past 11 months and have very long thread like floaters and Cells like floaters and they are very transparent,since from past 2 months i am seeing small flashes [very bright spots of light] especially when i get into environment with bright florescent light and i won't see them in dark room, And i had  my eyes tested to know symptopms of PVD but my doctor said they are not seeing any such symptoms.

Can you please explain why i am seeing these flashes, is it that my very transparent floaters appearing as flashes when i get into very bright light and will this symptoms ever disappear. i have -1.50x 180 astigmatism  -50 SPH in both eyes..

Seeing flashes in bright environments is common, flashes in dark rooms need to be taken seriously.

Dr,

Thanks for you are advice, But i got tested with 2 retinal specialists who did dilated eye exams and they used some lens and asked me to look around left, right up, down and other sides and said nothing to worry. Could you please suggest what i should do next.
