Eye floater and flashes while in sun

Hi, a few months ago I began taking this thermogenic called OxyElite Pro. It was 'all natural' from plants overseas and such, and seemed to be helping my friends lose weight, so I decided to give it a try. I took it for 6 days all together. Around the 2nd/3rd day I developed a floater in my left eye which I had never noticed before(could be a coincidence, not sure). I do think it was from the OEP though. On Sunday(no OEP this day), I laid out and when opening my eyes I would see all these bright spots everywhere(flashers, I assume). By this time, I had gotten really freaked out and obviously stopped the medication and started a little research that yielded very little results. Then went to my opthamologist and he said everything looked fine. To this day(3 months later) I still see the flashers while in the sun and also still have the floater. Notes: this is only when I lay out, not just walking outside. I am hot when it happens. Also, I have no pain when I see the flashers. I was wondering if this had any affect on my blood vessels and if it would be ok to take an adhd medication(Adderral or Vyvanse). I know these two meds constrict the blood vessels so didnt know if it was ok or not. Also, do I need to go see another opthamologist? I've read a little of retinal detachment but wasn't sure it was possible at my age. (I am 24/F.) Thanks,
Ali

I've read it's something called an opthalmic migrane when you see flashes with no headache. Something about the blood vessels have spasms and that's why I see flashers. I could be way off though. I was pretty sensitive to light while on the medication but it has went away. The only eye conditions that run in my family is glaucoma(my grandmother had it.) Would the ADHD medications affect my vision or pose any kind of threat to me now that I have these 'spasms' and flashers?
Thanks for your reply, Doctor.

I am not sure why you see flashes while in the sun.  Retinal detachment is uncommon at your age unless you have risk factors such high myopia, retinal degeneration (you ophthalmologist would have mentioned it), trauma, genetics, etc.
