CSR & Laser Treatment

I began seeing a red dot suddenly out of the corner of my left eye back in June 2011.  I immediately went to an Ophthalmologist who told me that he could not see anything but I seem to have abnormal blind spots.  I was sent to a Retina Specialist.  I was dilated and given Fluorescein Angiography and the doctor determined that I had CSR.  I was told to wait about a month and come back.  When I came back there was little to no change so I was told to wait longer.  Over the course of the next few months whenever I returned it was always there but not much difference.  Before I went this last time my eye started getting severely worse and FAST.  Colors were weird, vision was wavy, things looked smaller in the eye with CSR.  When the doctor check again he said it had gotten much bigger.  He decided to laser it that night.  It has been 10 days since the laser and it appears that some of my vision is returning.  Things are still wavy and I see a purple/red hue off to the left of my eye.  My question is that since the laser surgery it appears almost that there are 2 spots now so is it typical for the bubble (mine was oblong) to heal in different sections creating the illusion of 2 spots? I am worried that a new spot may be appearing or is this a normal part of the healing process?  Thank you for any info.  I have a recheck on Dec 15th.

Sorry about the double post.  I had started another for when  first got the laser surgery….then I thought with new symptoms I should post a new question.  Truly sorry.

You need to call your retina MD tomorrow and see if you need to move your exam up due to your symptoms. You might also ask about doing a daily amsler grid test to monitor your blur spot. Also ask if the second spot is the laser burn that was made to seal the leak in the retinal pigmented epithelium.
