LASIK and Lymphangectasia

Dear Docs,

I had LASIK in Jan of 2008 and only experienced mild dry eye afterwards.  In June of 2009 I began feeling a foreign body sensation in my right eye and in bright sunlight could see a wrinkle leading from the caruncle/bulbar area of the eye up towards the iris, but stopping AT the iris.  I experience the foreign body sensation daily and sometimes it creates outright pain.  I realize it probably rubs on my lower lid and also disrupts my tear film thus causing more discomfort.

I saw two doctors - one said not to worry about the wrinkling as it is "normal."  Another said it was a conjunctival cyst and that it may persist for years.

It seems to come and go and I've realized it may be lymphangectasia instead of a cyst as it is less like the latter in pictures on the web and more like lymphangectasia (varies from day to day).

My question is - why does the wrinkle/fluid-fille sac STOP at the iris when I press on the area?  Is that due to the LASIK flap?  Is there anything I can consider for it?

Thank you!

Lasik would have nothing to do with this as the conjunctiva is not operated on, only the cornea.

Conjunctiva cysts often come and go. It stope at the iris because the conjunctiva is tightly stuck into this area and does not go out over the iris (really the cornea).
Conj cysts usually do not require any treatment unless they are very big and are felt or seen by others. Treatment is usually simple, quick and painless (incision of cysts)
