My eyes are destroying my life

A few years ago I was attacked and had a concussion, and i then received no treatment and was suspended from school when I was attacked for no reason. A few minutes after the fight my right eye started hurting severely. I walked home to my house and puked on the walk home.

I took napoxen and iced my eye but for a few days i could not move my right eye or it would cause severe pain..

After a few days the pain stopped and it seemed everything was fine again. But when I looked too far to the left in my right eye I would see a large black spot in my eye.And if i looked to the right it would cause pain.

I ignored the problem for a long time which was a big mistake. I am now seeing massive amounts of eye floaters and sometimes flashes. Two months ago I saw an optometrist and she told me everything was fine and it was normal.

Now I see another problem along with all those listed. In my peripheral vision I know see a small black hole and i feel a clicking sound sometimes when I rub my eye. I feel like my right eye is looser than my left eye and does not move around as fluidly and it is driving me insane.

I cannot go on living like this the main problem is the eye floaters they are driving me insane and I cannot live with them it is ruining my life and I don't know what to do. And I dont say these statements figurateively .. My eyes are ruining my life and i need help!!!

My vision is completely fine aside from these horrible problems..

Good luck. I have lived the last 30 years with floaters including doing over 15,000 eye procedures. Once you know they're not caused by something serious your brain will usually tune them out (neuroadaptation) worrying that they're a sign of something serious is most stressful

You should see a retina specialist. If you live in the USA find one at www.aao.org  Seeing an optom is not like seeing an Eye MD oph;thalmologist.
