The doctor will look at my post hear and change anything that needs it, but 3 dots are likely floaters. If you see 50 or more and they are racing, that's cause for alarm. Go back to the eye doc if you think you should about the white thing; I don't know what it is.
Write back if you experience something new or alarming, or go to the doc. PVD can sometimes cause an rd.
Sleep when you're sleepy it has no bearing one way or the other

Thanks you for your reply..
Its dont know if thats a curtain...Its white and i can see through it but completly blurred...Its not in donut shape....Its just like some white thing which blurred half my vision in the right eye and then when i blinked it moved to the other side of eye..after a couple of blinks its gone...
The black spots are like 3 or four of them and there is no significant increse as i noticed form last week.....
I have seen the Retina Specialist last week wednsday....thats when he said you will feel better in six weeks.... This blurring stuff for the first time yesterday...
I tried to do that cup my eye and moved the eye and i dont see any mask...
what is it related to ..what does the black spots indicate and what does the mask indicate...
I was wondering can it be so fast...before 2 months my eyes are perfectly healthy and all of a suddeen all this...
Thanks you for your reply..
Use the search feature on this page and search "PVD", "posterior vitreous detachment" and "floaters".
At your age over 20% of people have floaters (most cousciously or unconsiously tune them out and ignore them) by age 50 its 50% and by age 70 it 75%.
You have had three examinations two by highly trained Eye MD specialists. If the floaters do not suddenly increase, flashes of light develop or loss of peripheral vision then you best try to ignore them.
I have had floaters since about age 12, if I "tune them in" then I see all sorts of strings, dots, blobs and veils on my computer monitor.
Go to Google IMAGES and search "vitreous floaters" to get a good mental picture of what's going on in your eye.

Is the mask donut-shaped? Or does it look like a veil or curtain? Are you seeing more black spots since you saw the doctor? How long since you saw the retina specialist?
I would go back to him. Tell the appointment person that you have questions, and need some more time with him. Ask to go immediately since you are so concerned. You need reassurance or treatment, whatever is appropriate. You definitely need more help than you are getting.
You are smart to figure it might be PVD.
The doctor her will be along to give you more info.
I have had both PVD and retinal detachment. It sounds more like PVD, but I need to know if the black spots have increased, or if you you can really make the mask go away completely? Cup your hand over the other eye, and look up, down, right, and left. Can you see the mask?
The doctor will give you more direction. If you do not get an answer within 12 hours, post again.
