Possible Coloboma?

I have a friend who's daughter I think has Coloboma. I feel bad asking her about this as I dont want to hurt her feelings. I noticed her left eye has a "keyhole" like shape and I believe this is coloboma from what I have read. I also noticed her development is much slower than it probably should be. Her daughter is 21 months old and I have a son who is 20 months old. I notice a huge difference in social interactions, fine motor skills, speach, etc... Also she never smiles. my daughter has one it takes up almost her entire eye the first thing my doc tested for was charge syndrom look it up see if anything fits

Hard to tell for sure but it looks like a inferior iris coloboma in the left eye.  As I said need to see pediatric ophthalmologist  Pretty child

Your link did not work, said image removed. Your friends child needs to see a pediatric ophthalmologist ASAP. Find one near her at www.aao.org

The iris coloboma (keyhole iris) is not usually a big problem but the defect is often associated with similiar malformation of the lens, retina, macula and optic nerve
