Retina Specialist
I have been diagnosed with a macular pucker and wanted to know if anyone can highly recommend a Retina Specialist near Livingston, NJ. Thanks for your help.
I live in Seattle, so can't help you with dr. referral. I did, however, go thru having a "surprise" macular pucker 3 years ago, and proceeded to get 4 Retina Specialist opinions and finally membrane peel/vitrectomy surgery.
Educate yourself as much as you can before you select a surgeon. Also, how bad is your macular pucker? Mine made my vision 20/200 from 20/20 in a matter of a couple of months, so really had no choice but to have surgery.
Ask lots of questions and review your OCT test results with your doctors.
