Sometimes see bright blue dots all over vision when wake up

Hello, I am 29 year olds, I'm nearsighted and have astigmatism.

For months now, not all the times, just sometimes (like few times a month)
When I wake up in the afternoon, first thing open my eyes, I see bright color blue dots all over my vision, the dots are bright like laser, and appears all over my vision.
This don't last long, I blink, and few seconds later and disappeared.
My vision not blurry or anything, just seeing those bright dots really scares me.

I heard that retinal occlusion see this, and I'm scares.
I have no health insurance now, so I try avoid seeing doctors unless is bad. So it is really bad? Please give me some inputs. Thank you

strange stuff has been happening with my eyes lately too, i'm not too worried but making sure it isn't bad would be nice. i have seen the entoptic phenomenon. what's more is rather than see it when i look at the sky i can see it occasionally when i first wake up. but tonight when i woke up there were hundreds of blue wavy lines interconnecting. i'd never seen that before, so please help if you can.

Thank you Dr. Oyakawa, I feel relief now, I was worried I might go blind, LOL!

To DonW66, I think blue dots issame as blue field. I find this in wikipedia, check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_field_entoptic_phenomenon

Here a quote from it,
The blue field entoptic phenomenon or Scheerer's phenomenon (after the German ophthalmologist Richard Scheerer, who first drew clinical attention to it in 1924[1]) is the appearance of tiny bright dots (nicknamed blue-sky sprites) moving quickly along squiggly lines in the visual field, especially when looking into bright blue light such as the sky.

So I think it the same, I do see tiny bright bright blue dots all over my vision sometimes when I wake up, especially in the afternoon when outside shine bright to my room, I can see it more visible.
Is just I never see this before when I was younger, now I am approaching 30, I begin to see it. Maybe eyes get bad as you get older and you notice it more.
