Yellow Blotches in Vision

Hey there, I am 34 years old, near sighted and have moderately dry eyes.
Recently I noticed seeing yellow blotches on walls or other light colored surfaces right after I look at some bright source of light like a lamp or computer screen. These blotches seem to follow my vision meaning the move in the direction i am looking only to disappear in 10-15 seconds.
I see an eye specialist every year and have never been told I have some eye condition other than near sightedness and dry eyes.
Have any of you ever experienced that? Do you guys have any idea what may be causing it.
Thank you for your answers

If you will use the search feature and archives you will see this is a very common post and some have discussions going on for years and over 700 postings. So it is a common complaint. If you have had a normal eye exam by an Eye MD ophthalmologist (not the shopping center chain optometrist) and all is normal, and nothing changes then it is usually a persistent "after-image" (like a image persisting after a flash photo is taken)
