a horizontal vein in my eye. solution?

I do not wear contacts and I have had a horizontal line/vein, which is very noticeable, going from the inside of my right eye towards the iris. it is almost touching the iris actually. it has been there for almost a year now and i would like to know what it is and how to get rid of it. by the way, i do a lot of work on computers (most of my day consists of computer work.) could that be why? help me out!

Just read an interesting article about this subject and there are actually two eye doctors currently performing eye vein removal surgery in the U.S.   It’s kind of expensive unfortunately, but might be worth it for some of us that are really getting down about the matter:

You need a medical eye exam to be sure your eyes are healthy. If they are the veins are there for good (just like the big vein on Clint Eastwoods forehead)
