eye care

I had  cataract surgery about 2 yrs ago in both eyes without complications. I had had floaters before surgery. But afterwards I didn't have any at all. About 4 days  ago I noticed a floater on the left lens. If I blink a lot it will go away for a few seconds then come right back. I also flashes of light at times. What is happening?

For a while I had symptoms I had no clue to what the problem could be. At times when looking at florescent lights my eye floaters would glow. Yesterday I went to eye doctor and he asked if I had a lot of migraine. I said no more than usual. He diagnosed me with ophthalmic migraines. I did research and I found something closer to my symptoms called aura migrants. Aura migraines can cause your floaters to illuminate when you are having a migraine and even if you are having a slight migraine and feel no pain from migraine. My floaters would illuminate while looking at florescent lights or bright light from outside when I was indoors in a darker place. Hope this info helps

Please go to your Ophthalmologist to have your retina checked.
Floaters and flashes are signs of vitreous detachment what could endanger your retina.
