Hi, I am 23, I was recently in a car accident and now I am experiencing this problem with my eyes. Nothing special seems to trigger it. The last time that it happened I was at the sink washing dishes, then there is this jagged line that goes across my vision and it looks as though I am underwater. There is also all these colourful lights floating all around. The only way that I can get it to go away is if I go somewhere and laydown with my eyes closed.
This has happened about three times, usually before or after I will get a headache and eye pain. Do you think this is something serious? should I get myself checked out?

This is a potentially serious problem and you need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist very soon. Your problem could be eye migraines, or disease of the heart, brain and blood vessels and also trauma.
